It was a gorgeous day to celebrate dogs at the
annual Pawlooza Festival held at the Plunkett Estate, this year. Humidity was low, and the random cloud cover
kept the heat to a very comfortable level.
Happy Tails was very excited to be involved!!
There were big dogs!
There were small dogs!
I was very busy at the Happy Tails tent,
introducing our business to the many visitors who stopped by… but I did manage
to find a small bit of time to do a little looking around of my own.
I joined the crowds to watch a little dog
jumping and dog rescuing. I think the
dogs involved were very happy to be jumping into the water, cooling offf!!
After my brief walk-a-bout, it was back to our
tent to sell some more of our fun products, including this colourful rain
poncho!
I met a lot of people at this event but it
was always nice to see a familiar face.
Neighbours and friends dropped by, from time to time, and it was really
great to have a visit from Linda and her pup, Timbit!!! I was more than happy to sell Timbit a new
T-shirt. He liked the one that said
“What would Scooby Doo?”
Devon noticed that there was a fun Kidzone
area, but he didn’t get a chance to play there, until a bit later in the
afternoon. His favourite activity was
playing in the Scooby Bouncey Castle!
And then it was time to get his face
painted! I suggested that he get painted
like a purple dog… but he didn’t like that idea.
Instead, he chose to get painted like a blue
dog!
At the end of the day, we were able to take a
short break and enjoy a cool ice-cream!
Thanks to everyone who came out to enjoy this
wonderful event. We all had a great time
and we’ll be sure to see many of you, again… next summer!!!!
